I love 6A'09.
Anyway, school celebration was okay, just meh, but can't blame the performers since they put in so much effort too. ACES day was cancelled meant earlier dismissal woohoo!
Went to JP with RV JWPSians to have lunch and buy gifts. I swear it was hilarious with all the /cough, scandals of Wanqing. Everyone was suaning her and I laughed like mad. I totally appreciate these lovely bunch of people's sense of humour, something I rarely get nowadays.
Went to popular, and happened to saw errrr, someone involved in the scandal. We were giggling so madly and it was so awkward. He's socially awkward and just follows us like a shadow and doesn't talk. He even followed us all the way till the toilet and waited outside for us omg. Creepy.
Went to the school, and I suddenly felt so unfamiliar. The school is literally rainbow and there was a totally brand new building. Lots of things changed, but the people didn't! Luo lao shi was hilarious and making fun of wanqing and ham's height, and kept asking fidellithy to squat down because she was too tall LOL. It was awkward when meeting up with the rest of the class from other schools at first but it was ok at the end haha.

Photo from Mrs Tan's facebook. Pity that some people weren't included though.
Afterwards we headed to a place and played captain's ball. Even though it was totally ridiculous and we rarely got the ball because of the guys, my stomach hurt from the laughing. Everyone was shouting foul at each other for the most ridiculous reasons like OI YOU WEARING BLUE COLOUR FOUL. Then I slipped at the ring area and meh. The funny thing was wanqing and zhijia fell at the same place SO I WAS THE ONE WHO CURSED IT LOL
Played H2O and splat and werewolf afterwards, it was fun! :)
Honestly speaking I didn't look forward to meeting them THAT much since we still see most of us in school, like Ham, fidellithy and Weijie LOL. But boy I loved it. Can't wait for our next meeting again haha!
But now isn't that bad too. 3A'12 is honestly a fun class, not as mugger as I thought. Of course each class has its own imperfections, but we have good teachers (mostly) and people willing to speak up in class to make the lessons more enjoyable. I don't regret taking triple science, because if not, I wouldn't be in this class, and I wouldn't meet such awesome people. If I picked another combination, who knows, I might have ended up in a worse class.
My life is good now, so I have to work hard for EOYs! :D
I need to go.

Slacked the whole day today. /disappointed shake.
The only I did was baking chocolate cupcakes, which failed terribly. I think it was my Math which failed me when calculating the quanities, since I had to make do with 1/3 cup of butter and I was lazy to go down to buy more. Sigh.

Should have known that something was wrong LOL. But it was too late.
Anyway, I went to NTUC afterwards (idk why I wasnt lazy anymore) to get proper measuring cups, and replenish cupcake liners and oh the trip was disappointing. NTUC should bring in more stuff. T___T Last time the blue liners were from a random alley in ntuc but now I think it is gone. Then when I finally found some, the floral designs were really weird then I went home I realised it was smaller than the standard size. :(
I am so going to Phoon Huat to spend soon. And get good stuff to make good food. Pretty glassine liners, proper measuring cups, and pure vanilla. Oh and cheap whipping cream and sour cream.
I spent my ENTIRE day today, other than playing diamond dash, looking for recipies and chatting with my mum lol. I even planned what to bake for CNY and valentine's next year for my friends. And probably Christmas too. I AM WEIRD GAH.
I love cupcakes.
Change of topic. I have also been - um settling CO stuff. Many things to do, hope everything goes well. I don't even know if I should tell the teacher's about the teacher's day thing or not. Fortunately I have Jiamin who is a good advisor, and a dependable exco, and (mostly) cooperative year twos. I think after the batch talk I find them not bad eh. (Y) hope everything goes well for the year ones too.
Another change of topic.
Chemistry, CID and English. Noooooooooooo.

Even though I still have not visited nor started on my geography report and I am pretty much screwed for the physics test, no harm doing stuff that I liked. Baking today was totally a last minute decision this morning, because usually I would have like planned one week ahead of time. Settled on vanilla cupcakes because since I didn't crave for chocolate (surprisingly).
Recipe from: http://www.laurainthekitchen.com/all/episode.php?episodenumber=61
You'll need:
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 milk
- 1 1/3 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
/a>salt
1. Preheat oven to 175 degree celcius.
2. Cream butter and sugar together! Since I did this by hand it was rather difficult, just make sure butter is softened to room temperature to make your life easier.
3. Add the eggs and vanilla and continue mixing.
4. Sift in flour, salt and baking powder. Usually I don't bother sifting but last time I baked a choclate cake there were lumps of flour so I learnt my lesson.
5. Gradually pour in the milk. Stop mixing once you don't see any traces of flour. Might want to switch from a whisk to a spatula to avoid over mixing.
6. Pour the batter into muffin tin with paper lining. Fill to about 3/4 full.

Don't worry if it looks weird here haha, it will level in the oven. And I know I used a weird bowl here but oh well.
7. Into the oven for 18-20 minutes.

Mine baked for 18 minutes. Check with a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cupcake at the 17th mark. If it comes out clean, it is done. You don't want to eat chao da ones so check.

Fresh from the oven!
8. Cool cupcakes for about 20 minutes.
This whole process requires lots of waiting so I play diamond dash and played with photobooth for a bit while waiting LOL.

If I had a symmetrical face.

Trying to look scary but my nostrils looks disturbing.

Alienfied.

Creepy smiling alien.

This looks horrible.

I bet if people see these photos and don't know me they're going to be scared LOL.
Ok back to the cupcakes. You can make your own frosting like chocolate or cream cheese or vanilla or almond or coconut or peanut butter or mint or raspberry or blueberry or whatsoever.
I chose to put peanut butter, take note, NOT peanut butter frosting because I was lazy haha. But the consistency was super sticky so it was hard to frost. Only put a very thin layer or the flavour will overpower the vanilla.

Frosted cupcakes! If you noticed 1 is missing because I ate it.

Goes well with milo whee.
Now I have to think about what to do with my homework LOL. Toodles.

This past week has been absolutely crazy. With all the tests and events, i definitely need a good break. I have been going back to school for the past 7 days and probably will be continuously going to 14-15 days omg. I haven't even had a good sleep so far. :(
Couldn't remember what happened on Monday, handover on Tuesday, which is probably the biggest turning point in my entire life. I didn't really mind at first, but as Zhaoying started talking to me it feels as if everything crashed into me. But now I have sorted out my feelings and I'll try my best. :D and probably not turn so red when speaking in front of everyone so easily. :(
Wednesday was a happy short day, thursday had the PF test - which we later found out it stood for productive failure. o_o meh it seems like they gave different teaching approaches to both our class and 3C, and want to know which one is better. I'm like wth but oh well the whole topic is pretty interesting. :D Inheritance is really fun.
Friday was tests x2 day. SCS was okay but math was horrible. Oh well at least it's over. No point dwelling on it. :) then we had CCA and it ended early. It was really chaotic during the moving of instruments. :( gah everything was so inefficient and I should have hurried people. Sigh. Lots of room for improvement.
At night we went to HCCO's concert. Man the school was huge, but didn't bother taking photographs. Had a difficult time finding the correct auditorium. Their CO's intonation was really good. (Y) but I believe this is not to their best standard. Went home really late. I think we spent at least 1 hour waiting for either the bus or the train. The school is so inaccessible, no mrt or shopping malls within walking distance. I feel lucky to be in RV. :D
Then this weekend was mostly spent on practising for the CIP this morning. Gah it was extremely screwed. :( hope we can do better next time. But I seriously love and enjoy all the time spent with RVCO ensemble. All the people are so fun to be with and hilarious. :') I don't even mind waking up early for them. Thanks to them it made my weekend so enjoyable.
Tomorrow's Monday. :( and we have to be in school early to practice for the aylc dance sigh. Hope it'll be fun. :D

Wednesday already. Life has been tough with all the homework that I have no mood to complete. But look on the bright side, we were released at 2.30 today! The thought of going home early to my bed comforts me. Napped for 45 minutes just now, and man it was good.
Sitting beside Jenwei is weird. He laughs to himself a lot. And he is sensitive to the word rabbit. He draws rabbits everywhere. Then today in Chinese I found out that we shouldn't even sit next to each other. Both our Chinese sucked and we don't know how to read words. Lin Lao shi was listening to our broken Chinese conversation during discussion. Man it was embarrassing. I really have to improve my Chinese literacy and oral skills. Have been trying to read Chinese articles from Qing nian wen zhai.
Gavotte is a good song. There are many songs by different composers of the same name, but their common point lies in the emotions it brings. The happy and bouncy tune keeps playing in my head. I'm happy now. :D playing a simpler version during CIP, how I wish I could play the one by David Popper, it's really good. But then I'll go off with all the high notes and harmonics. I even downloaded the scores and I can't read alto clef very well. :(
BUT STILL it's a nice song. This girl playing it. She's young but talented.

I can play this all day long.

Down to the last week of holidays left. D: thanks to everyone who had accompanied me to make this holidays more fun than the usual, instead of worrying over homework. :D pretty disappointed that I can't go to class outing though. WHY ON TUESDAY? :(
Anyway, I have decided to spend the rest of my holidays re jail breaking my phone (tomorrow, like finally) and baking! :B I have already baked an awesome fudgy and chocolatey brownie with Ham and Nikki today. Who knew it would turn out this good? :D planning to bake some awesome cupcakes with frosting for year 4s farewell next. I have researched A LOT. Hopefully it would be successful! :D
Term 3 is going to be hectic. So why not enjoy it while you can? :)
