It's a new year, and I don't really feel much difference. Maybe a little more excited and nervous as school's approaching? Anyway, as promised in my previous post, I shall post my new year resolutions, and I will really try my best to complete them this time.
- Be more studious, obviously. Like study harder for common tests in the first three terms and get exemption! Preferably full, but at least an exemption. Last year was horrible enough, if I don't get any exemption, I'll go crazy. English, Chinese, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, SCS. Too. Many.
- Be a good senior to my juniors. Year 3, oh gosh. Means I'll have two batches of juniors. Have to buck up my skills in order to teach them. And with the new CCA scheme (of letting year 2s being able to change their CCA), I hope I can influence them to be passionate about CO and remain. With Mr Lee, it's going to be hard, but I'll try. :D
- Be awesome to my parents. And not to disappoint them.
- Be more sociable. Go out a little more often, instead of being cooped inside my room with a computer and phone. #foreveralone
I'll miss 2A a lot. It'll feel weird without any single one of them in the class.
Without Amanda, there wouldn't be someone to talk to during morning assembly. Without Joeline, I can't talk to anybody in between classes and flood her with questions. Without Huijia, I'll screw all the science practicals. Without Mengmei, there wouldn't be a walking Chinese dictionary for me to consult. Without Rachel, there wouldn't be a female NCC in our class. Without Qinfang, I'll miss the high pitched screams and laughter. Without Xinying, there's no Chinese compo-zaikia to learn from. Without Daphne, I'll miss the weird asthmatic laughters in class. Without Elin, there wouldn't be a nice friend to talk to online. Without Jolene, there'll be one less person to talk about CO with. Without Chaiting, there's no one to, uh, about. Without Jiahui, there isn't anyone who we can gasp about her handwriting. Without Ruoyu, my Math and Chinese would be screwed. Without Yiling, there's no one I can go crazy with. Without Penglu, I'll listen to even lesser jokes and laugh less. Without Germaine, there isn't someone to make the class laugh or collect aesthetic stuff so responsibly. Without Tania, there'll be one less dancer. Without Teri and her weirdness, there'll be one less person to be weird with me. Without Xiuting, there would be no one to go crazy with me in Chinese. Without Jinyan, there won't be a violent female in our class. Without Yanru, there will be no one to go to CO with and simply chat with.
Okay I'm tired already. LOL. I'll skip the guys I guess. But overall, without the guys, lessons would be dead boring. Like mehhhhh.
But of course, instead of dwelling in the past, I'll look ahead at the future. I'm excited to meet my new class, how would everyone be like?
Anyway, first day of school will be really hectic. Meeting Phoebe, Shuhan and Nikki to go to school (as always), then finding Yiling and collecting MY PARADISE, and finding Zheyi at the stairs to enter the class with. LOL.
And, did I mention? No CO on Tuesday! :O Means go home early! Means more time to pack my CO file! Means more time to do the year one orientation proposal thingy! Means more time to think about my class after I get home! Means going home with Phoebe! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE. :D
